emtechnik has had an ISO 14644-1 Class 5 cleanroom since 1997, previously referred to as a Class 100 cleanroom.

At the same time, the technical department integrated flare fittings into the system of our connection principles. These are used in the semiconductor industry and have been cleaned, assembled, inspected and packaged in a contamination-free atmosphere in the clean room since their market launch. An ultrasonic washing line uses ultrapure water (self-produced) to ensure optimum cleanliness in this area in order to guarantee the absence of particles, oil and grease.

Cleanroom production has been possible since 2018. Thanks to the additional clean room area of ISO 14644-1 Class 7, the products can be manufactured using the injection molding process under optimal clean room conditions and therefore meet the highest requirements for cleanliness and purity.

Our long-standing motivation to meet the demands of the semiconductor industry at the highest possible quality standard was demonstrated once again this year at Semicon Europa in Munich. At the leading trade fair for the semiconductor industry, our team presented our space savers and (flare) fittings, quick connectors, as well as ball valves with electrical actuators and other fittings.
