We have been delighted to support the youth teams of the TSG Maxdorf basketball team since 1990. Last year, we were able to realise a special project. Together with Heike Ammon*, we started planning the realisation of a great idea in the summer of 2024: New warm-up shirts for the players. With our logo, of course, and in our eye-catching purple house colour. The enquiry was immediately well received and we soon set about implementing it.
Just in time for Christmas, we were able to present TSG Maxdorf with 230 new warm-up shirts for children, teenagers and young adults. The shirts were designed in collaboration with the Maxdorf printing company Wiedmann - a wonderful example of our close ties to the region.
As Heike Ammon reported, the new colour was particularly well received by the players. The beaming faces at the handover on 17 December 2024 spoke volumes. Philip (U14m), Denise (U16/U18w) and Etienne (U16m) had the opportunity to try on the shirts straight away. Heike Ammon and Johann Ammon**, two committed constants at TSG Maxdorf, officially received the warm-up shirts.
The club currently has a strong basketball department with 11 teams that play around 150 matches per season. Thanks to the new warm-up shirts, players from U8 to Ü35 are now well equipped - even in the important phase before games.
Michael Meier repeatedly emphasises how much he cares about community projects, especially those that support children and young people.
We wish all players every success for the current season and beyond - may they continue to score points with passion and team spirit!
